Service Description
Ages 6+ years Saturdays & Sundays in Ottawa! Get the buzz on bees! Join us for an exciting and educational experience at Gees Bees as we invite you to get up close and personal with one of nature's most fascinating creatures: bees! This unique event offers participants the opportunity to witness the inner workings of a beehive and gain a deeper understanding of these essential pollinators. Tickets are $7 per person, Recommended for ages 6 and up, though all are welcome! Watch from our screened observation area as we show you the beehive and its busy inhabitants, revealing the intricate structures within and giving you a firsthand glimpse of the bees' remarkable activities. You will witness the bees as they tirelessly gather nectar, create honeycombs, and communicate with each other through complex dance-like movements. Our knowledgeable staff will ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. Whether you're a bee enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply curious about the wonders of the natural world, "See the Bees at Gees Bees" promises to be an engaging and educational adventure.

Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for See the Bees demonstration up to 24 hours in advance and receive a full refund or transfer to another date (subject to availability). No refund or exchanges will be given on tours that are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the See the Bees demonstration. Gees Bees Honey Company reserves the right to cancel See the Bees due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or insufficient enrolment. We will contact you by email/telephone and issue a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another See the Bees date (subject to availability). WARNING: under Ontario law, an agritourism provider is not liable for the death or injury or illness of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if that injury or death or illness results from the inherent risks of that agritourism activity.
